Insulation was completed this past week.
It is strange to have walls in The Green House again.
It is so quiet in the house now.
I no longer hear my footsteps... and I'm a huge pregnant lady.
We chose to put batting in between the floors and interior room walls. We wanted batting between the floors because we have hardwood floors that can be loud when people, especially little savages, run on them. We decided to put the batting between rooms because in our sweet little house we live in now we have to be very careful to not wake the Little Savages while napping. What I mean is our showers wake The Savages, and we don't dare flush during nap. It's not pleasant (waking them during nap AND not flushing). We hope to not have this issue at The Green House.
So bring on the baby monitors.
We'll need a couple!
I might accidentally turn them off a time or two...
Peace and quiet will be scarce in house with a herd of Little Savages.

we live in an old house (135 years old) and our "issue" are the old hardwood floors squeaking. they don't do it downstairs, but upstairs (where our bedrooms are) they are LOUD and if you're not careful you can definitely wake my daughter up (14 months). i hope y'all have better luck than we do! :-)
