Kitchen Cabinets

We drove to Cincinnati Sunday.  IKEA is having a big kitchen sale.  

These are the cabinets we chose. We got the hardware pictured, and the refrigerator. 

If we bought three appliances, along with our cabinets, we got 20% off of the entire kitchen.  So we bought the refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. The appliances are made by Whirlpool, but were designed by IKEA.  They have a five year warranty, which was a selling point for us.

I really liked the range, but it has dials on the front, within reach of the Little Savages.  Picture the Little Savages playing with the stove.... not a good scenerio.

The microwave/hood we bought is nothing special.

The refrigerator we chose is not spectacular either.  The handles match our hardware.

But, the dishwasher we chose is cool.  The door matches our cabinets, so it blends right in.  The buttons are out of reach of The Little Savages, which is helpful.  And it is stainless steel on the inside.  I like that.

IKEA was lots of fun, but was a lot of walking for this very pregnant woman.  There was plenty to inspire me as I attempt to furnish our new home.

I see several trips to IKEA in our near future.  Honey, we need a minivan....
