We had a huge puddle suddenly appear in our yard a few weeks ago. We didn't think much of it at first. The water company had said that they would not turn on our water until we had heat. Apparently, they changed their mind, or turned on our water accidentally. Communication is not a priority at the water company. Whatever, one way or another, our water was turned on and a huge puddle appeared.
My big fear was realized, our water main is broke.
We are going to attempt to repair the main. If the repair does not work, the whole thing will be replaced.
Look out neighbors! The heavy equipment arrives on Friday.
