Paint! Part 2

Painting the interior at The Green House has been a long process, and a messy process... obviously.

Our Oldest Savage said, "Wow!  Baby's room orange."  The orange might be one of my more unfortunate color choices.

He likes his new room, painted Colts blue and gray.  We plan on putting a Colts logo on one wall, and a Cubs logo on the opposite wall.

Our Oldest Savage wanted a pink room.  We told him that since he will be sharing a room with his little brother, we would choose the color.  I have a plan to work in the pink at some point in the future, if he still wants it.

The trim is going up.  We discarded the old trim, caked in lead based paint, and are putting up fresh new trim.  The carpenter will have to redo some of  the trim he put up, so that it looks more similar to the original trim.  It is important to me that the trim looks as original as possible.  I've given him pictures, so he should get it right.

The Mister is still working on removing the glue that held down the linoleum from the hardwood floors in the kitchen.  Removing glue with a wallpaper steamer is proving to be a time consuming task, but not a labor intensive task.

We still have lots of work to do at The Green House.  With the help of our family, we plan to move in in mid May!  We accepted an offer on our Sweet Little House.  If all goes as planned we will have to be out before the end of May.

I have lots to do before then.... like give birth.

Lord help me.
