This is what the dining room looked like a year ago when we looked at the house with the realtor.  The old bicycle was charming.

And here it is now! 

Like the dog cage in the corner?  I thought it was a good choice. 

 I could not commit to chandelier.  So, I got my mom's old light fixture.  I'll find something I like at some point in time.  Until then, this will work. 

Our table looks miniature in the new room. 

We put recessed lighting above the buffet and in the bay window.  I like it.

See the junk piled up on the buffet?  I can't bring myself to go through it... so there it sits.
