The house finally got the paint job it deserved.
Gone is the monochromatic color scheme slopped on, with a mop, by the previous owner.
We love the new look.
It was not easy to keep three little savages inside and out of the way of the painters for eight full weeks, but we survived. I'm still recovering from the process.

ReplyDeleteHi, my wife Cheryl and I live about a block away from you just off the corner of Hawthorne & Lowell (second from the corner at Lowell on Hawthorne). We bought our house in 1989 and for the past 20 years have walked by your house which we always called "The Adams Family House" because it was always dark and the vegetation was always over grown and it just looked like the house where Lurch, the Butler" would answer the door. Everybody in the neighborhood went through the house when it finally came on the market and it just looked like an impossible task to do all the work necessary to bring that house back. But bring it back you have and we just want to congratulate you and say thanks for what you've added to the neighborhood.
